Brokers are eligible for many of the same discount programs as agents; some are ongoing, and others have a limited time to enroll.

20% discount for Agent Referrals – for Brokers
Typically, we give a presentation to your agents and answer questions about the advantages of SMARTePLANS and “how it all works”. By setting up a “House” account in advance of our presentation, the “House” earns any/all discounts when their agents subsequently book a SMARTePLAN® after hearing our presentation.
When a new agent to SMARTePLANS books a job, we email the office Administrator notice that “the House” has earned a 20% discount. The 20% discount off the square foot rate drops the square foot cost from 20 cents per sq ft to 16 cents per sq ft on future SMARTePLANS. These discounts do not expire, but wait until you are ready to use them. Typically, Office Managers use the earned SMARTePLAN discounts as incentives, rewards, contest prizes, etc. to reinforce some of their own ongoing in-house programs.
A twist on this approach went like this ….
An agent hired me to smarteplan a home and the job was scheduled on the same
day as the office meeting / caravan day. I was working onsite and stopped so I could
be introduced when agents arrived and answer any questions. When completed,
the agent who hired me emailed it back out to all the participating caravan agents
“…Remember that floor plan lady you met … well here’s the finished SMARTePLAN”.
A lot of time people look at the drawings and think “Oh how nice..” because they’ve
never seen the property and it just looks like a “nice” drawing, they don’t realize
how VERY ACCURATE it is. The caravan group had the advantage of seeing the
“Before” and “After” and the comments we got were “I didn’t know it had lazy
susan cabinets in both corners of the Kitchen”; I forgot to see if the fireplace was
wood-burning or gas logs, but I can see it here”; “I peeked in the master closet and
didn’t realize it also went around the corner, too”.. etc.
I paid out four 20% Discounts to the Agent who hired me that day — because
4 “caravan” agents booked jobs with me, after they got a chance to see the “Before
and “After”. Yep … she’s one smart cookie, and one of my best clients.
Each job at standard pricing accrues towards future discounts: 5 paid jobs earns you a 25% discount. If you do not want to “cash in” your discounts at 5 jobs and keep the count going — 10 paid jobs earns you a 50% discount (or two 25%’ers) — your choice. We do all the record-keeping and at any time you want to know where you stand — give us a call! SMARTePLAN discounts earned by multiple agents can be used by the Broker/Office Manager for drawings or prizes or rewards for their own in-house programs.
Pre-Paid Blocks of 10,000 sq ft
Occasionally, at the end of each year I sell blocks of 10,000 sq ft at a deeply reduced sq ft price for the coming year. Enrollment for this program is usually from November 1 to December 31. All pre-purchased sq ft needs to be paid in full no later than January 3rd. As we invoice you, the deeply discounted sq ft in your “bank” is decremented until it is all used up. Unlike other discounts we offer, unused sq ft does not carry-over to the next year, but expires at the end of the year; use it or lose it. It’s not uncommon for brokers to purchase one or more blocks of 10,000 sq ft for their agents
