One of the most powerful advantages to a builder is the opportunity to license the technology which is designed to retain, protect and even increase your market share.

The Broker Centric Business Model was originally created for brokers and facilitates licensing the technology to them; in many cases this model is also applicable to builders with in-house sales staff which can:

  1. Lower the price per sq ft by over half.
  2. Technology fee ROI in 3 months; the balance 9 months you are generating a profit
  3. Delay royalty payment until the property is sold and the commission is paid (ie we share the same risk you do, if the property doesn’t sell, we don’t get paid for our labor / marketing expenses either).
  4. Train your own people to create pictorial property plans using our methods —giving you control over both pricing and production.
  5. Customization of your (own) branded floor plan product; you don’t have to use the SMARTePLAN name. You can create, advertise and increase equity in you own brand name.

Custom Licensing

Maybe you don’t have an in-house sales staff, so some of the above “Agent” benefits are not applicable to your operations; but you do have a need to differentiate yourself in the market. You can elect to use the SMARTePLAN® name, or come up with your own “name” for your branded floor plan product — that is activated from your site, with your own unique branding, logo, site coloration, etc.
